For my project I plan on using Chinatown, San Francisco as my main location. I really want to focus on the culture and the architecture and not necessarily the people. I want it to be a feeling of actually China and not just the popular tourist location. Shops are a big interests and also the graffiti. My original idea was San Francisco graffiti but the graffiti in Chinatown is actually more like art and part of the buildings. Giant peacocks and dragons for example take up some of the walls. I want to lean towards color for the project. The reds and golds are everywhere in Chinatown and I want to bring those out of the photos I take using camera raw most likely and also photo shop.

The main style I want the theme to lean towards is definatly tradition, more so Asian traditition. Statues, golds, creatures and stories are found all over and that is so different than what we have here around our towns. With Chinese in a lot of the shots and different fonts to match it would give a traditional feeling.
